QRC provides on-site annual radiation safety and quality assurance/control seminars that meet and exceed regulatory requirements.

The annual in-services cover the elements required by the Department of Health and offer helpful practice suggestions for all x-ray operators. Our annual in-services are always approved for ASRT Category A continuing education credits.

We are open to creating customized annual in-services that target your specific radiology issues and concerns.


The following outline is from our
1999 annual radiation safety in-service:

  • The effects of radiation exposure to the human body, embryo and fetus
  • Radiation dose "average exposures" to our patients
  • Patient shielding ( gonad and courtesy shielding)
